Story

After surviving the destruction of their spacecraft by Rex Mundi's team of mercenaries, Hardcase, Choice and The Solution race to discover what on the moon is bombarding the Earth with mysterious ultra-creating power. Mundi's team wants to capture this Entity on the moon to provide Mundi with its immeasurable power. Hardcase, Choice and The Solution are joined by The Strangers, Mantra and Prime. Together, they attempt to prevent Mundi's mercenaries from capturing The Entity. They also try to stop The Entity from emitting further blasts to Earth. On Earth, the madness continues, as people are driven insane by Amber as she begins emitting ultraviolet radiation. Ultras who have remained on Earth are attacked by crazed mobs. Mantra discovers that The Entity is in fact a "black box" from a space vessel that crashed on Earth when the planet was still in its molten stage. Stranded, the beams that it is emmitting are sent to create ultras who will be able to supply The Entity with enough power to transmit its data back to its home planet. Prototype attempts to download The Entity's data into his own computers, but it is too much for him to handle, and causes The Entity to explode. By combining their powers, Mantra, Shadowmage and Yrial are able to contain the blast. The destruction of The Entity puts an end to Amber Hunt's color-shifting and the people of Earth return to normal. Amber Hunt's exact location and fate remain unknown.
