Story

NecroMantra finds herself on the Godwheel after the events of Mantra #19. Her magic is weakened, and a snake-like Slithor almost kills her. Only the intervention of Lord Tavon and his daughter Arielle saves her. She is taken into their home, where she recovers. Lord Tavon is smitten and soon marries, NecroMantra. In the dungeons, NecroMantra seeks out the imprisoned court wizard of the former king. He tells her that to regain her black magic she must kill one she hates, and two whom she loves. She goes into the wilderness on her wedding night to kill a Slithor and fulfill the first part of the wizard's edicts. She then returns to kill the wizard and Lord Tavon, which returns her power and makes her the new queen.
