Story
Thinking the "moon madness" (see Break-Thru #1) to be
a possible Aladdin trap, Mantra decides against going to the moon. Searching
through a museum, Mantra locates a piece of lunar rock and unintentionally
teleports to the moon. Inside a cave, a false Archimage promises Mantra
a man's body, then attacks her. When she fights back, the creature becomes
Boneyard, but Mantra detects no magic. It then becomes Marinna, Lukasz's
first wife, and drains Mantra's energy. Finally becoming the faceless
Entity, the creature states that it cannot be disturbed in its quest for
knowledge, then it summons all the bitter souls Lukasz had displaced over
the years. Mantra is saved by a mysterious apparition, who tells her to
return to Earth. But Mantra's powers are weak, and she passes out (Continued
in Break-Thru #2).
