"Wedding Knight"
Mantra Vol. 1 #16
November, 1994
Quote:
"Eden...for fifteen centuries I've hopped from body to body..life
to life--my only concern was that damn war with Boneyard! I didn't care
whose lives I ruined while doing it. I'd grown cold...I haven't allowed
myself to love anyone...until now. I know you feel the same..."

Story
Mantra returns home to find Kismet Deadly pretending to be Eden. The
fake Eden is about to remarry Gus! Kismet Deadly, who uses a charm that
transforms love into mystic power, attacks Mantra at her hotel, but Mantra
escapes. Later, at the wedding, Mantra confronts Kismet Deadly and seemingly
destroys her. Thanasi is still in the body of Uncle Moe, and he commits
suicide to escape his decrepit body. Thanasi returns to Gus Sr.'s body
to again become The Iron Knight. Kismet Deadly reconstitutes herself to
aid The Iron Knight, but they are both defeated with the help of Gus's
resistance and Evie's destruction of the charm. Thanasi is banished to
Kismet Deadly's dissipating body, and the wedding is called off.
